I experienced a very nice sunrise on the American River, here in Sacramento on Sunday morning.
I made this image from 15 verticals stitched together in Photoshop. I prefer to shoot my panoramas with vertical images so that I can zoom in more, and keep the landscape larger. It is like having a telephoto, wide angle lens! I hand held the camera and pivoted, making sure I overlapped the images by at least one third. A good tip is to remember to shoot your hand before and after the sequence so you know which images are part of the sequence.
And I also want to remind you that tomorrow's webinar is "Lightroom: Taking advantage of the Library module". For more info and to sign up click here.
